Are you right for Tink?

Tink is looking for a home with a family who want to enrich her life with lots of fun activities and adventures. She can live with children aged 12 or older who will understand that she can time to build up a bond and who will understand to give her space when she needs it. Tink would need to be the only dog in her home, however, she can have walking buddies when out and about. She prefers the company of calm dogs who are happy to say hello and then continue to walk alongside her rather than big bouncy dogs who will want to continually play and be in her space. Unfortunately, Tink has not yet had masses of training in her young age and therefore would benefit from learning all her basic skills as well as the fun stuff. This will help her build her confidence and bond with her new family. She will need house training in her new home so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Tink loves a basic biscuit treat over the fancier variety so a stock of biscuit treats will be handy to teach her! She has shown some interest in toys but doesn't always know what to do with them. Tink's future family will need to be home most of the time as she struggles when being left on her own, she will need company to make her feel safe. Tink has potential to build up the time she can be left after she has settled in, but she will need to feel secure with her new family and home before this is attempted. Tink will need to meet her adopters' multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Tink right for you?

Tink is a 6-month-old Jack Russell Terrier x Shih Tzu tiny little bundle of fun! She loves to run and sniff her environment, occasionally checking in with her human companions before going off to explore again. Tink is a bundle of fun who has lots to learn and lots of love to give! Tink is a wonderful girl who needs a new family to help build her confidence, she will be a great addition to her new home.
