About the Harefield West London centre

Our Rehoming Centre based in Harefield is set within 16 acres of farmland and home to seventy five purpose built kennels. We currently have over 150 dogs in our care.

We’re set within 16 acres of farmland and home to seventy five purpose built kennels. We currently have over 150 dogs in our care including our sponsor dog - Hobo! Our fantastic facilities including under floor heating, glass fronted kennels, six exercise paddocks, a four acre field, a Puppy Suite and our amazing new Sensory Garden.

Visiting us

HS2 Works Notification: From 23 October to 19 November there will be a lane closure between our Harefield Centre and HS2 site entrance on Harvil Road. Please follow diversion routes and temporary traffic signage. Details of the works can be found here. 

By public transport:

Closest rail station is West Ruislip, which is a 10-minute drive away from the centre, or Ickenham underground station, accessible by Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, which is also approximately a 10-minute drive to the centre.

Alternatively, if travelling solely by public transport, take the underground Metropolitan or Piccadilly line to Uxbridge station. From there take the U9 bus to Havil road, which stops directly outside the centre.

By road:

Take the Swakeleys roundabout exit from the M40 (A40). Take the B467 exit (signposted Harefield, Ruislip and Ickenham). At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Harvil Road (signposted Harefield). Dogs Trust West London (Harefield) is approximately one mile down on the right-hand side. Parking available on site.

Donate your pre-loved items. We’re accepting pre-loved donations of treats, toys, towels and bedding (except feather duvets) via our contact-free drop off points. Signage outside will make it clear where you can drop off your donations. Please don’t leave clothing, valuables, electrical equipment, or furniture at our centre drop-off points.
