Supporting responsible dog ownership
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or learning about your new four-legged friend for the first time, we’re here to help.
Sharing our lives with dogs is incredibly special. We owe it to our best friends to understand what they need from us to keep them healthy and happy, making sure we’re always there for them, in the right way. We’re here to help all dog owners to become the best they can be.

Collar and ID tag
It's a legal requirement for all dogs to wear a collar with ID tag in public places. If your dog is an aspiring Houdini, it's a good idea to have them on while they're out in your garden too.
Your dog's collar and tag is more than just a fashion accessory, although they do look fabulous wearing it. If your dog escapes or you lose them on a dog walk, having your name, address and contact details on your dog's tag will make it much easier for you to be reunited.
If a Dog Warden is called and your dog is wearing a tag, they will attempt to return the dog to you straight away without having to take your dog to the pound.
