Dogs Trust

UPDATE: Our rehoming centres are closed until further notice, however we are now able to rehome a small number of our amazing dogs. Each dog’s profile will let you know if they are looking for a new home. For the time-being, we are unable to register your interest for dogs who are not yet available for rehoming.

Mint Velvet

Mint Velvet fashion is the epitome of ‘relaxed glamour’. Founded by three working mothers with busy lifestyles back in 2009, it has become a fun, fashionable and affordable brand for the modern woman. Their relaxed, sophisticated style, and attention to detail makes Mint Velvet stand out.

But that’s not the only reason they stand out… Mint Velvet wanted to run their business with sensitivity to the world around us, so they set up the MVGiving Charity which supports a small number of charities close to their hearts, and ones that make a real impact. Mint Velvet and their customers have a real affiliation with dogs, and we are delighted that Dogs Trust have been chosen to benefit from their initiative.

Mint Velvet semi-sheer chiffon blouse

We’re excited to announce a brand-new collection from Mint Velvet – a Dalmatian print shirt and skirt - to support the dogs in our care. Printed all over with a black and ivory Dalmatian design, this pencil skirt (£89) and semi-sheer chiffon blouse (£69) is not only a cool take on the animal trend, but also a way for Mint Velvet to show their support of Dogs Trust. They are proud to be donating £10 of the sale price of each product, helping thousands of rescue dogs, like Pongo!

Four-year old Dalmatian, Pongo, is a stunning looking boy, bouncy and full of energy. He loves exploring new environments and playing with his toys, so his fun nature has been a source of inspiration for Mint Velvet’s new collection!

Mint Velvet kindly supports Dogs Trust through their MVGiving initiative. Not only have we received over £30,000 since 2015, Mint Velvet have also offered their support in other ways including volunteering at our rehoming centres and helping to raise awareness of our important work. We’re very pleased to have their support!
