Does your dog struggle to cope when around other dogs? Our reactive Dog School can help.

Spaniel - Reactive Dog School Classes

Why attend reactive Dog School?

Is your dog fearful of other dogs? Do they bark at other dogs when on a lead? Or do you struggle to get them to focus on you when there are other dogs around?

Our reactive Dog School can help you and your furry friend overcome these challenges, together.

What’s Included?

The course includes six sessions:

  • an opportunity for you and your dog to learn basic skills in a 1-2-1 setting. This class is just you, your dog, and a skilled coach to help you prepare for the group sessions
  • a group session teaching you about dog-to-dog reactivity, how to reduce this, and what we’ll be covering in class. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and meet other dog owners facing the same issues before classes start
  • four weekly group classes, with up to three other dogs present.

What will you learn?

Slowly and safely, we’ll help your dog feel calmer and more relaxed around other dogs. We’ll also teach you emergency techniques to use if you find yourself in a challenging situation.

In class, we’ll cover:

  • understanding why your dog reacts the way they do
  • techniques to reduce reactivity in the real world
  • teaching your dog to walk calmly on a lead and maintain focus around other dogs
  • effective training methods that support you and your dog
  • how to make walks enjoyable for you and your pal.

The reactive dog package, including a 121 session, group presentation, and four weekly classes costs £135.

Our standalone 1-2-1 class

If you think a 1-2-1 session might suit you and your pup better, you can now sign up to a standalone 1-2-1 reactive Dog School class.

Are 1-2-1 classes for you?

Our booking team will help you decide whether 1-2-1 classes are the right choice for you and your dog. Classes cover the basics needed to help your dog overcome the daily challenges they face. Just you, your dog, and one of our skilled coaches.

1-2-1 classes work well for dogs who aren’t quite ready for a group environment. They’ll also suit you if you can’t commit to a six-week course, or a venue that might not be convenient for you. Unlike group sessions, our 1-2-1 classes can take place at any of our centres.

One standalone 1-2-1 class is £70.
