Are you right for Dudley?

Model looks but with a brain to match, meet our gorgeous superstar, Dudley! He absolutely loves meeting people and quite often likes to introduce himself paws first! When excited, he can be a big bouncy boy so would suit children aged 14 that will understand he needs periods of calm as well as fun. Initially, he will need you around most of the time, but with time to settle in the home and get used to you as his family (with plenty of support from us), we believe you could build up his leaving time slowly. Ultimately, this snugglebug just loves to be with you either on the sofa or in his favourite sleepy spots. Dudley will need to be the only dog in his new home, and due to his breed would be unable to live with cats or small furries. When on walks, Dudley can find seeing others of the canine kind a little difficult, therefore, he would need to live in a low dog populated area with nice quiet routes where he can just focus on sniffing and exploring. His new family will need to keep him on lead and muzzled whilst out, but he is muzzle trained and wears it like a pro. This clever cookie absolutely loves training sessions and does the best sit and paw. He will engage super well for a smelly treat and would love to learn more fun stuff as well as more of the basics! Dudley will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Dudley right for you?

Dudley is a 3-year-old lurcher who is a firm favourite with all the staff here at the centre. After spending time playing and learning, he loves nothing more than to curl up for cuddles. He loves his cuddles and human company so much in fact that he struggles with being on his own at the moment. He absolutely loves squeaky toys and these often give him the zoomies, so he is guaranteed to give you a laugh or two. On walks, he is lovely on lead and will respond well to his name, he only loses his focus when he sees something he wants to check out or sees dogs closeby. With his tricks under his belt, he poses for the best photos and will likely be filling up your camera roll in no time! Our Dudders is ready for his new home.
