Are you right for Tottie?

If you are dreaming of a pair of loving Whippets to fill your home with warmth, Tottie and her mum, Jess, may be just what you are looking for. Tottie is 6 years old and must be rehomed with Jess, as these two are inseparable and bring out the best in each other. She is a confident and affectionate soul who thrives on human connection and will happily nuzzle in for a fuss at any opportunity, often nudging Jess gently aside to make sure she gets her fair share! Tottie and Jess are looking for a calm, loving home without cats or small furries, as Tottie’s prey drive means they would not be suitable housemates. Once settled into a new home they could be left for a few hours with a comfort break and could live in a home with kind, dog-savvy children aged 14 and over.

Is Tottie right for you?

Tottie has taken to life at the centre with ease, showing confidence and curiosity in every new space she explores. She has been polite and friendly with everyone she has met, including greeting our CEO as if they were old friends. She is happy to be handled, groomed, and moved around the centre, and nothing much seems to faze her. She has adapted quickly to new surroundings. This sweet girl is great in the car, hopping in and settling down quietly for travel. She takes treats gently, is housetrained, and has a few basic cues under her belt. She has not shown any interest in toys but is far more motivated by people and physical affection. Tottie eats well, has shown no issues being fed separately from Jess, and is generally very relaxed in her day-to-day routine. Tottie’s warm nature, love of fuss, and strong bond with Jess make her a delightful companion. With plenty of love, a few comfy beds, and daily walks, this gorgeous pair will quickly make themselves at home.
