Are you right for Ivan?

If your idea of the perfect companion is a pocket rocket full of character and cheeky charm, Ivan might just be your kind of dog! This lively four-year-old Jack Russell Terrier is on the lookout for an active, fun-loving home that can match his playful spirit. Ivan would love to be the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the attention, but there may be potential for him to live with another dog pending successful mixes at the centre. He could live with children aged 14 and up, or possibly younger if they are calm, sensible, and able to manage his bouncy ways. Any time by himself will need to be built up gradually once he has settled in his new home. His new family should be ready to embrace his enthusiasm for life and keen to keep his busy brain ticking with fun games, training, and adventures.

Is Ivan right for you?

Ivan is an affectionate, bouncy boy who is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Once he has burned off some energy with a good play session, he loves nothing more than chasing a squeaky ball around or zooming about with a toy in his mouth! He has not had much formal training yet, but he is clever and responsive, and would really thrive with a family who enjoy teaching tricks, building his recall skills, and perhaps even trying their hand at agility – he has shown a real knack for it! Ivan can be a little wriggly and excitable when he is over-aroused, and may jump up or mouth, so he needs a home ready to help him channel that energy positively. If you are looking for a lively, loveable companion with a large personality packed into a small body, Ivan could be just the boy to bounce into your life!
