Are you right for Maui?

Maui is the sweetest boy! He loves fusses and treats and will steal your heart in seconds. He does need a little reassurance when first saying hello, but it doesn’t take long for him to be your best friend. Maui loves to play, especially with his tennis ball and bone toy! He absolutely loves cuddles once he’s warmed up to you and will lose his mind for a little squeezy cheese! Maui needs a little help to build confidence and to learn the world isn’t so scary, he does jump up for reassurance at times and finds a lot of comfort in his favourite people. He cannot wait to start his new life, filled with love and joy!

Is Maui right for you?

Maui can live with children over 10 who are dog savvy and can give him lots of love. He is looking to be the only dog in the home but can live with cats! He hasn't had the best start to life and so deserves to find a home that will adore him and give him lots of TLC. Until his arrival with us, Maui had never met another dog and had lived in a home with multiple cats, therefore, he is unsure when meeting dogs and can sometimes bark, we are working on this and he does have some dog friends but this would need to continue in the home. Maui had some skin flare ups when he first arrived but this has cleared up very well but is still in progress (2nd picture is most recent and you can see the difference!) We are awaiting his skin to be completely clear so that we can neuter him, he isn't quite ready to go home but he is ready to meet people and plan his adventures!

We’ll keep your application open for three months and keep looking for a match

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you …

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
