Are you right for Morgan?

Morgan is looking for a calm, loving family home that will give her time and love in her retirement from racing. This pretty lady loves to explore the world around her and loves to sniff all around. She can live with children aged 14 or older who understand that she at time she needs some peace and quiet and to give her space when she needs it. Morgan could live with another dog that is polite and happy to co-exist, she would prefer to live with a dog of a similar size to her. This is not a necessity however and Morgan would be happy with walking buddies when out and about. Morgan will not be able to live with cats or small animals due to her racing history. Having lived most of her life in kennels, she will need housetraining, so a private, secure garden is preferred. She can jump high so her new garden will need high fencing to keep her safe and secure! Unfortunately, Morgan has not had any other training and would need all her basics, she does however love food which adopters can use to their advantage. She does walk nicely on the lead, with some tension at times but this isn’t continuous. Once settled into her new home, Morgan could be left for 1-2 hours at a time, but this should be introduced slowly once she has had time to get used to her new family and surroundings. Morgan will need to meet her adopters' multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Morgan right for you?

Morgan is a super sweet and pretty 4-year-old Greyhound who loves to explore the big wide world around her, sniffing lots as she goes! She loves her treats and will eat most types gently from your hand. She loves her toys and will chase them, getting zoomies and playing by herself and with handlers. She walks well on the lead whilst out and about, she can occasionally pull but not continually. This lovely lady is ready to find her new home.
