Bertha is a big girl with an even bigger personality. She has bags of energy and enthusiasum and adores toys. Bertha has no etiquette when it comes to dogs and can be a bit like a bull in a china shop. Although she is friendly, sheneeds to be the only pet in the home as she doesn't like to share anything. She would probably be best walked in quieter areas away from other dogs.
Type of home needed
Bertha should be fine with older teenage children and will need her owners around all the time to settle her in properly. If it's taken slowly, she should be able to be gradually built up to being left for a few hours on her own. Her owners will need to be patient with her and help her to feel more secure. Our Dog School training classes would be a huge benefit to her and we can give you more info on this at the centre.
