Lexi is a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She loves the company of people, but potential owners will need a few visits to the centre to get to know her, as she is nervous when meeting new people. Lexi also loves a tennis ball and would happily play fetch for hours. Lexi can live with children aged 11 years and older.
Type of home needed
Lexi is looking for a home where she will be the only dog, she can be worried and reactive when meeting other dogs. She will need to be walked in quiet places and work on her socialization and introductions to other dogs very slowly and building up her confidence gradually. Lexi is unable to live with cats or small animals. Lexi may need reminding with her toilet training but once settled can be left for short periods. Lexi is a sweet, playful girl with a lot of love to give.
More about me
We will be taking applications for Lexi and the home chosen will be based on suitability. An appointment will then be arranged with the potential adopter to visit her at the Centre. The applications close on Tuesday 4th August at 4pm. Please be aware that applications may close early if we receive a high level of applications. To request a rehoming questionnaire, please email [email protected] and a form will be emailed back to you.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
