Are you right for Lova?

Lova is a bundle of energy with satellite sized ears ready to pick up her next cue! Her breed desires physical and mental stimulation and they are known to forge strong bonds with their people, so her new family will need to be keen on training both her body and mind. She can live with children aged 14 or over who understand she is still building her confidence around the world and noises, and in typical puppy play sometimes she sometimes uses her mouth. Lova could live with another dog of a similar size, being a young pup, she could live with an established dog that would bring out her confidence and help her shine! She is happy to play with other dogs or co-exist calmly, reading other dogs' body language well. Lova would also be ok with walking friends out and about. She cannot live with cats or small furries. Lova is typical of her breed and is already showing she is a smart cookie, knowing sit already. A young pup, she needs to gain a little confidence in the world and learn all her basics, including housetraining. A private garden is needed for Lova to continue this training free of distractions. She loves food and gets really excited when it's about, but like all young pups, her attention is best kept in short and sweet sessions. Lova, like many young pups, is very worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home most of the time, especially to begin with. Once settled, there is a possibility she could be left for short periods, however, this would need to be built up once she is confident and secure. Our behaviour team is always on hand to help with advice once it is felt she is ready to start being left. Lova will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Lova right for you?

Lova is a 7-month-old Belgian Malinois full of beauty and brains! This busy little girl loves adventure and exploring the big wide world in front of her. Like many of her breed, she thrives on physical and mental stimulation but also fun, especially if a sniffy walk is followed by some soft toy play! This young lady is looking for her PAWfect family to help her find her paws and thrive!
