Are you right for Finn?

Meet Finn, the big, cuddly Trailhound who's eagerly searching for his forever home! This friendly fella brings joy wherever he goes, but he does have a bouncy personality, making him best suited for a household with older children, ideally those of secondary school age. Finn's playful spirit comes with a bit of a prey drive, so he’ll need a home without cats or small furry friends like rabbits and guinea pigs. He can get vocal when he spots other dogs, so a secure garden is a must for him to enjoy playtime safely. His ideal garden should have 6ft tall fences to accommodate his jumping antics! While Finn will thrive as the only pet in the home, he's open to having some calm canine companions during walks. Initially, he will benefit from plenty of companionship as he adjusts, but we're confident he can adapt to longer hours alone with gradual training and support. If you think you can provide Finn with a loving home and continue his training journey, he can't wait to meet you!

Is Finn right for you?

Meet Finn, our affectionate five-year-old Trailhound who has found his way back into our care due to his owner’s health, but we are still determined to help him find a forever home. Finn has had quite the adventurous life as a working Trailhound, but he’s been fortunate to enjoy all the comforts of home while doing his job, so he’s fully housetrained and ready to be the perfect companion. Finn absolutely adores people, which can make it a bit tough for him when left alone. He’ll need some time to adjust, so gradually increasing those alone hours is key to helping him feel secure. This sweet pup is eager for a home that’s willing to continue his enrichment activities and engage him in scent work and games—he thrives on mental stimulation and is a great food enthusiast! If you think you could be the perfect match for Finn, don’t hesitate to apply. He’s looking for love, adventure, and a cosy spot to curl up after a day of fun!
