Are you right for Fred?

Fabulous Fred is a cheeky, energetic boy who is on the search for an adult-only home with no visiting children. He is friendly with people and ok for small bursts of fuss, he just has a history of finding children a bit worrying and can be vocal if he gets startled. Fred finds it quite stressful when he sees dogs out and about. He’ll need to be the only pet in the home, but with management and the right approach could have doggy walking friends. A secure garden is essential for Fred as he needs the opportunity to go outside without seeing other dogs or needing to be put on lead.

Is Fred right for you?

Fred is a typical Terrier with a brilliant personality. At 9yrs old he has come into our care as he was really struggling after a change of circumstances in the home. There’s lots of positives in his home history though including being housetrained (though he might need a quick refresher). Fred can also be left for a couple of hours if this is built up again once settled. He’d love some quiet walking spots where he can relax and enjoy his time out, but fortunately has a good history of car travel so could go further afield for these. Fred has an amazing nose and loves playing games sniffing out his favourite toys. If you can offer Fred a fun-filled play session then he’ll happily settle down while you go about your day.
