I'm looking for a new home...

Bjorn is a handsome 10 month old Dutch Shepherd cross. He's a very energetic boy who loves to be out exploring new places. Bjorn doesn't have many manners when it comes to meeting other dogs so he will need owners who are willing to continue his training and work on his dog socialisation. Bjorn will need to be the only pet in the home.

Type of home needed

Bjorn would love active owners to go on new adventures with. He can live with teenagers aged 16 and over. Bjorn can be a bit of a houdini so a secure garden is a must for his offlead exercise. Bjorn's new owners must be able to come and visit him at the centre 3 times - he can be worried when meeting new people. Once he's home he will need someone around most of the time, he gets upset when left alone so this will need to be built up gradually.

More about me

Bjorn would really benefit from owners who have shepherd experience. If you are interested in rehoming Bjorn please click the link below to apply.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
