Meet Marley! He's a fun, enthusiastic Malinois cross who is full of excitable energy. He's keen to join an active family who have experience with dogs and an interest in reward-based training, as Marley is super intelligent and loves to learn. Other than keeping his busy brain stimulated with lots of learning, Marley enjoys long walks in peaceful areas and participating in a game of fetch or tug!

Type of home needed

Despite being a youngster aged almost two-years-old, Marley has already had to endure a lot through his early life. With little experience of the world around him, he can become easily overwhelmed and finds a few parts of life challenging. A patient, understanding family who can guide him through while he transitions into his new home environment would be perfect. Marley will benefit from building on his social skills with other dogs but to begin with he will be happier walking in quieter areas so he can build on this at his own. He'll need to be the only pet, living in an adult-only household where there are at least two people. A garden of his own is essential so that he can enjoy an off-lead run about.

More about me

Ultimately, Marley's perfect match would be with adopters who love the outdoors just as much as he does, and who are looking for a dog that they can dedicate their life to as Marley will be keen to get involved in everything you're doing!

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Shoreham Rehoming Centre in Sussex.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
