Tia Maria

I'm looking for a new home...

About Tia Maria

5 to 7 Years

Tia Maria is a very pretty 5-year-old Lurcher. She is looking for a committed family to continue her training, as she is very bright and thoroughly enjoys her training. She's very affectionate and will lean into you for a fuss. Her favourite handlers would describe her as very true to her breed-once she's had her zoomies for the day she'll happily snuggle up to you on the sofa.

Type of home needed

Tia Maria will require direct access to her own secure garden, and she can live with children who are over the age of 14 years old. She is uncomfortable around other dogs and will need to be walked in low dog populated areas, as a precaution we are teaching Tia to wear a muzzle using positive reward-based training methods, this means it will feel no different to her putting her harness on when going out for a walk. Unfortunately, she cannot live with cats or small furries.

More about me

She is a good traveller so she'll make the perfect addition to an active family who love to go on adventures. Our team at the centre will be on hand throughout Tia's adoption and beyond, making sure that everyone is getting the support they need. Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
