Nessie is a fabulous girl who has really come along during her time with us. She was very nervous at first, but now she can't wait to get out for walks with her carers and go exploring. She enjoys a gentle fuss and is very affectionate, loves to cuddle up with us and she loves her grub! Nessie enjoys playtime, and will trade her toys beautifully.
Type of home needed
We suspect Nessie has been a working dog in a previous life, and she will need to be rehomed to an urban area where there are no farmer's fields! She will walk alongside quiet dogs but prefers little interaction, so she'll need to be the only pet in the home. She can live with children aged 14 and over, and she'd benefit from some basic training. We believe Nessie has lived in a home before, so she should be housetrained, but be warned that she can be very strong on her lead!!
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
