Sparky has lived in a home previously and was housetrained and good to leave a few hours alone. He can be a little bit vocal in the car.
Type of home needed
Sparky is a beautiful boy who acts much younger than his 10 years of age. He will need to be the only pet in his new home. He loves both his food and toys which could be used as part of his ongoing training. Sparky will need an adult only home and patient new owners who will give him time on his own when he needs it. New owners will need to be prepared to visit Sparky a few times at the centre before taking him home in order to form a bond with him. Sparky is uncomfortable having visitors to the home so will need a very quiet home where he can enjoy his retirement! He will need a home with access to his own secure garden.
More about me
I am not currently available for rehoming as I would like to meet my new family a few times before I go home, which is not possible at the moment due to current restrictions. My canine carers will let you know as soon as this changes, so keep an eye on my profile.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
