Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

About Bandit

Centre:
Breed:
Age:
8 and over
Sex:
Male

Likes

Bandit loves playing chase games with his toys and having a good run around! Bandit has lived in a home previously and was housetrained and good to be left alone for 3 hours. He can be a bit restless in the car and is worried around traffic so would prefer to live in a fairly quiet area.

Type of home needed

Bandit is a sweet lad but with a worried side so he would suit a quiet, adult only home with people who will have the time to carry on with his training. He is always happy to see his carers and very eager for his walks! He would need to be the only pet in his new home and would prefer walking in quieter areas where there aren't too many distractions. Unfortunately he is unsuitable to live with cats. Bandit would also have to walk with a muzzle on when out and about due to his high prey drive. He does love his food and treats which could be used as part of his on going training. Bandit will need a home with his own secure garden. His new owners will have to visit him a few times before taking him home in order to form a bond.

More about me

If you feel you could offer bandit a home or would like information please contact the centre.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Bandit, who is based at Kenilworth (West Midlands). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog.

We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming.

We will, of course, be doing everything to ensure the safety of our staff, and adopters when we offer this service. You can find out more about this below.
