Rosie is a beautiful 13 year old Jack Russell looking for a home where she can rest her paws and be well and truly spoilt in her golden years. Despite her age, she still enjoys a couple of short walks and loves nothing more than exploring all the different smells. When she's not out exploring the neighbourhood she enjoys playing with her toys and has even been known to sneak upstairs for a nap on the fosterers bed!

Type of home needed

Rosie is suitable to live with children aged 8 and over and would like to be the only dog in the home. Although she is happy to walk in close proximity to other dogs, she will move away from them when they get too close. For this reason, we think she would enjoy walks in quieter areas where dogs won't run up to her. Rosie has been left for a short while in her foster home and we think that this can be built up once she's settled. Rosie has been known to chase cats and birds so will need a home free from these.

More about me

Rosie is currently in one of our foster homes enjoying some home comforts and so is not at the centre. If you are interested in offering her a forever home then please submit an application form.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Manchester Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
