Mae is a 2-year-old Lurcher. To apply to rehome me please click on the "rehoming me starts here" button below. Applications will close once I have found my suitable match. Mae can live with children of 12 years and above and will need to be the only pet at home.

Type of home needed

Mae is a friendly girl who has not seen much of the world, she will need owners who have owned dogs previously. Mae is currently living in a foster home where her carers have described her to be a dream in the home. She will need someone at home most of the day to keep her company. Mae is uncomfortable around other dogs and will need to be walked in quiet areas where she can enjoy being out exploring new places.

More about me

Mae is house-trained and happy travelling in the car. She loves to play in the garden chasing after toys or relaxing with her family. Mae adores a fuss and will happily snuggle up beside you.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our West Calder Rehoming Centre in Edinburgh.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
