Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

Haiti

I'm looking for a new home...

Haiti is a handsome boy who is looking for a home with German Shepherd experience. he is still young Haiti will likely require further training to help him settle into home life, so a family who are committed to working on any necessary training he may need using positive, reward-based methods is a must.

Type of home needed

Having someone at home for most of the day will be necessary in order to slowly build up the time that Haiti is comfortable being left alone. Haiti can be a bit worried by people when he first meets them so will require multiple meets at the centre before giong home in order to build a bond with his forever family. Haiti can share a home with children aged 16 and over, and this includes visiting children. He cannot live with other dogs but would likely beenfit from further socialisation to build his confidence around them. He cannot live with cats.

More about me

In order to work on his basic training in a secure environment, Haiti will need direct access into his own garden with a fence of 5ft in height. To apply to adopt this beautiful boy please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close once a suitable match has been found.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
