Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing.

We kindly ask that you don’t visit, or travel to, our centres. We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you’re matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

I'm looking for a new home...

Gala is a sweet ex racer who is hoping to settle down with some home comforts. He is a very affectionate boy who will make a great companion for someone.

Type of home needed

Gala would be best suited to a home with older children of 16 years plus as he may not have much experience with kids before but has a very gentle nature. He could live with a similar sized dog but cannot live with cats. Gala is instantly friendly with everyone he meets so will make a great walking buddy athough he doesn't need too much exercise and is often found snoozing through the day. Having previous experience of owning a dog would be ideal as he may need some further training.

More about me

Gala would prefer to have someone around all day as he isn't used to being left alone. After settling, the time he is left alone could be built up gradually using postive reward based training. Having direct access to his own secure garden with a 6ft fence is required. Due to current restrictions we are looking for a home within a 30 minute drive from our rehoming centre. To apply to adopt Gala please click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Applications will close when we find a suitable match.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
