Sasha is a sweet, senior Labrador Retriever with a gentle nature. While this loveable 11-year-old was rather sensitive during her stay at the centre, she has begun to show her affectionate side in her Foster Home and loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa for cuddles! Sasha will enjoy joining you on a gentle stroll around the park, fetching a slow-moving tennis ball and receiving lots of love and attention.
Type of home needed
She would best be suited to a quieter household where she can take it easy, without too much going on around her. The hustle and bustle of a busy family just isn't for her, so instead she is seeking understanding owners who can spend lots of one-to-one time with her and allow her to take life at her own pace. She can live with older teenagers who will understand her needs and she'll need a family who are around most of the time to keep her company. Although she is friendly with other dogs, Sasha doesn't seem to gain a lot from spending time in their company. While we feel she would prefer to live as the only pet in her new home, we will consider potential homes with dogs, so long as they are happy to share the affection and won't expect too much of her. A garden of her own is essential as Sasha's walks will need to be limited, but her love for the outdoors is endless!
More about me
Please note: Sasha is currently residing in a temporary foster home. In line with current government guidelines, we can open to the public through a limited, appointment-only basis. Please call us to register your interest in Sasha, and if it seems you could be a match, you may be invited to our centre for an appointment to meet her.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
