Penny is a fab girl who is typical of her breed and loves to be on the go sniffing out new things! She is active and would do well with an owner who is looking to share their adventures with a canine companion. Having recent experience of owning a dog is essential as Penny is working with our behaviour team and she will need to continue training at home.
Type of home needed
Penny is looking for a forever home with children over the age of 16 years old. The best environment for her would be relatively dog free to allow Penny to work on some doggy social skills. She is looking to have someone around for most of the day but once settled would cope being left for an hour or two. She is housetrained but prefers company, although she can be quite independent she does enjoy fuss and attention.
More about me
Penny will need to remain on lead when in public places so will need direct access to her own garden at home to ensure she has somewhere to run around and burn off some energy. It must have a 5ft fence or higher. She will make a lovely addition to the right home. We are looking for a home within 1 hour of the Glasgow Rehoming Centre.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
