Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

Shadow

I'm looking for a new home...

About Shadow

Breed:
Age:
5 to 7 Years
Sex:
Male

Shadow is quite an independent boy who enjoys a fuss on his own terms. He would like his adopters to ideally have previous husky experience or knowledge and have a keen interest in helping him learn new skills. He loves running around off lead so will need to have an enclosed garden with at least 6-foot fencing where he can burn off some energy, relax and enjoy a tasty treat. He can be strong on lead so would need adopters who can manage this and carry out some training around loose lead walking.

Type of home needed

Shadow could live with children aged 8 and older, providing they are confident around big, bouncy dogs. He will need to be the only pet in the home as he is unsure around other dogs and would benefit from some training in this area once settled. He would ideally like to live in an area with access to walks away from lots of other dogs so he can grow in confidence and learn how to socialise at his own pace. He is not used to being left so would like his new family to be at home with him to help him find his paws; once he is fully settled, he may have the potential to be built up to being left for short periods of time.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Snetterton Rehoming Centre in Norfolk.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
