Our rehoming centres are not open for public browsing but you can still make an appointment to adopt or bring a dog to us.

We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Belle

Age:
2 to 5 Years
Sex:

Likes

Belle is a special girl who has bags of character and lots of potential. She can be a little worried at times and is deaf, so she's looking for patient adopters who will help her to gain confidence. Belle knows some hand signals already including 'ready' 'look at me' 'walk on' and more. We will support Belle's adopters with her training and hand signals. Belle is a fun-loving girl who loves playing with toys and could play fetch all day long as it's her favourite game! Belle will make a very loyal companion to someone who takes time to get to know her and build a bond.

Type of home needed

Belle will need plenty of time to settle into her new home, as she can get a little nervous. She loves being in the company of her favourite people, so would like her adopter to be around most of the time. Belle would like to be the only pet in her new home and will suit a quiet adult-only home. She will need access to rural walks or routes in quiet locations as well as access to a garden with at least 5ft tall fencing. Belle will need several visits from adopters at the centre to build relationships before she goes to her new home.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Belle, who is based at Snetterton (Norfolk). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
