I'm looking for a new home...

A bright, young Lurcher who loves to learn - meet Ava! This highly active two-year-old is adored by her carers here at Shoreham for being a big goofball with a smart brain, yet sensitive character. She enjoys keeping busy with lots of enriching activities, which is a great way to keep her active mind stimulated.

Type of home needed

We're hoping to find Ava a new family who will enjoy watching her bound around after her toys as much as we all do. Ava will need to continue working on her ongoing training in her new home. She is doing exceptionally so far and has learnt a lot since her arrival so we're sure she will continue to make great progress in her new home. Just as much cheeky as she is endearing, Ava will need to be kept on lead at all times. Ava is looking to live as the only pet in her new home. Her dream come true would be with an active family her with her training. The youngest members of her family will need to be aged at least 14.

More about me

To begin building up a solid bond and to learn will need to make several visits to our rehoming centre ahead of Ava going home.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Shoreham Rehoming Centre in Sussex.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
