Lemmy is a seven-year-old Terrier cross with tonnes of character! It may take him some time to build up a relationship and develop his trust in new people, but once he knows you well, he'll make for a playful companion who's bound to keep you thoroughly entertained! Lemmy is an interactive little chap who has a big love for his toys; he particularly enjoys a game of fetch and swap and he's also keen to participate in his training.

Type of home needed

Lemmy has a super smart brain, but with being so clever can have its downfalls and Lemmy tends to find much of life overwhelming. His ideal home would be with a patient, and active family who could continue with the training that he's been learning at the centre. Lemmy is particularly worried by formal handling (e.g. vet visits), seeing other dogs out and about and sharing his favourite things (e.g. toys and food). He'll need an undisturbed area of the house where he can go to for relaxation time and to enjoy chews and enrichment in peace. Much more a fan of his people pals, Lemmy needs to be the only pet, in an adult-only household, without any visiting children or too many visitors in general. A garden of his own is essential and he'd much prefer quieter walking areas, away from the hustle and bustle. He's a good boy when travelling in the car, which is a great benefit if needing to drive him to more remote locations.

More about me

Lemmy will need to meet his new family on multiple occasions at our rehoming centre in order to build up a solid, trusting bond and so that his family can work alongside our Training Team on his behaviour management plan.
