I'm looking for a new home...

About Toffee

8 and over

Toffee is a lovely 8 year old Spitz. She hasn't had the best start in life so can be worried in new situations but she has come on leaps and bounds. Given the chance to get to know you, her true character shines through. She's a playful girl who enjoys playing with her toys and carrying them around. Although worried by some; Toffee has mixed well with other small dogs so could live with another similar sized dog pending successful mixes here at the centre.

Type of home needed

Toffee can be timid when meeting new people, particularly men, so is looking for a calm and quiet home environment. She could live with older teenagers aged 16 and over. She isn't fully confident with walking on lead although she has made good progress. A secure garden attached to the home is essential. Toffee will need patient owners who are willing to give her time and space whilst settling in.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
