Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Rocky

5 to 7 Years

To apply to rehome Rocky, please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found. Rocky is a 6 year old Lurcher who is very people-oriented chap. Rocky enjoys having someone who is around most of the time to give him the attention he needs. He particularly enjoys a good neck scratch and a little tickle on the chin! Rocky is always keen to go for a brisk walk and despite his age, has plenty of zest and energy to offer a new forever family.

Type of home needed

Rocky is seeking an active lifestyle where he can be given lots of opportunities to exercise both his brain and body. He would benefit from a low dog populated area as seeing other dogs out and about causes him some level of distress. Rocky will need a secure garden with no neighbouring dogs as he Rocky has proven to be quite an accomplished escape artist! Breed experience would be beneficial.

More about me

Rocky can share his home with children of secondary school age. Rocky would like to be the only pet in the home, and will need further help terms of his emotions around other dogs. He can only be left for few hours at a time.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
