About Chaplin

8 and over

Chaplin is a handsome 8 year old Greyhound who loves human company. He loves his food and is a big fan of having tasty sardines mixed in with his dinner! He will settle nicely on a nice comfy bed, always keen for a treat or two or an ear tickle. Chaplin is not a big fan of long walks but still enjoys going out for a potter on nice quiet walks.

Type of home needed

Chaplin is looking for a home with children over the age of 11. He has previously been left with another dog for 4 hours, if rehomed with or without another dog, time would need building up. He can be boisterous so any children in the home should be used to bouncy dogs. He can share his home with another dog as long as they are calm. He cannot live with small animals due to his high chase drive. Chaplin can be vocal when meeting dogs out and about but does settle down and walk nicely alongside. Chaplin would love his own secure garden for offlead zoomies or sunbathing!

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
