To apply to rehome me please click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Applications will close when we have found a suitable match. Fred loves other dogs which often helps to build his confidence. It would be really beneficial if freds new family had friends and family with dogs. Fred loves dogs so much so that he can be quite playful with them, he would therefore be better suited to walking with other dogs who aren't overwhelmed by this.
Type of home needed
Fred is a beautiful lurcher who we would love to see in his forever home. Fred can be very nervous and can find people and new environments very worrying. Fred would ideally benefit from a quite home in a quite location. It would also be beneficial for any potential adopters to live locally so they could do regular visits to the centre to meet him.
More about me
It will likely take fred some time to adapt to home life but with time and patience he should grow with confidence. The behaviour team at the centre will be able to support and advise Freds new family on helping him settle into a new home.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
