Herbert is a big lad with a lovely nature. He loves his big outings and running off lead in secure areas. He is good with other dogs and enjoys meeting four legged friends when out on his walks. Herbert likes tasty food and playing ball with you. He adores human company, having lots of fuss and cuddles. However, he is fine being left on his own for a few hours. Herbert is very active and would enjoy going running with his new family. Being a Husky, Herbert very much prefers to relax in cool, quiet places.
Type of home needed
Herbert is looking for an active home where he can get all of the exercise he needs. He is very high energy, especially in the cooler weather. Ideally owners who have experience with this breed would be perfect but if you are willing to do lots of research and think you could give Herbert what he needs then we will consider your application. Herbert has a high prey drive and connot be let off lead in open areas. He would also need a very secure garden. If you have any small animals or livestock in the area then this wouldn't be right for him. Herbert could live with children over the age of 10.
More about me
To apply to rehome me please click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Applications will close Monday 28th September or when we have found a suitable home.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
