Gorgeous Mila is a super sweet 2-year-old boxer looking for a loving home to pamper her and bring out her silly, goofy side. Mila is a gentle soul to start off with who can be a little nervous of new people, but with some food and toys, she quickly comes out of her shell and loves to zoom around off-lead and lean into you for a gentle fuss. Once she trusts you, her affectionate side comes out and she will happily lie beside you for some cuddles and jump up for more! She gets super excited to see her favourite people, she doesn't just wag her tail, her whole body wiggles with excitement! Mila absolutely loves her food which is great for bonding with her and she is also super clever and has been so responsive to her training here. She loves to be active and going exploring on adventures and will also jump straight in the car for trips further afield. Mila seems to be under socialised around other dogs and can be reactive to some however we have been working on building her confidence around other dogs and she has managed to have lovely lead walks and nice sniffs with some calm dogs.

Type of home needed

Mila would like her own private, secure garden where she can relax and zoom around with her toys and this would need to have no neighbouring dogs. Mila will need a home that has access to quiet walks with few dogs and away from busy roads as she can be reactive to dogs and is wary of heavy traffic. As she jumps straight in the car, we would consider people who are willing to travel to walk her if they don't live close to these walks. She will need a home with minimal visitors and not to greet any visitors at the front door as she can be nervous of new people. Mila can live with children aged 16 years and over but no young visiting children. She will need to be the only dog in the home and cannot live with cats or small furries.

More about me

Mila will be going home on a lead disclaimer which means she must be kept on a lead when out and about.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Manchester Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
