Sam is a 7 year old handsome Shepherd looking for his new home. He loves treats, especially hot dogs, so this will be great for his ongoing training as he loves doing tricks for treats! He enjoys playing with his toys, one of his favourites here is a squeaky pineapple and he love a game of fetch! Sam also loves getting a gentle fuss off his human pals and once you get to know him he really will blossom into a loving companion.
Type of home needed
Sam will need a home on a quiet street, that is set back from the road so he won't be worried by people passing the windows. Sam is unsure around other dogs so will need his walks to be in quiet areas where he wouldn't bump into many. He will need his own medium-large secure garden with no neighbouring dogs. The home will need to be non open plan and as Sam doesn't really settle in the car, long journeys should be non essential. Sam can live with children aged 14 years and over. Sam will need to be the only dog in the home and cannot live with cats.
More about me
Please note under the current coronavirus restrictions we will be doing meets with Sam at the centre following social distancing criteria.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
