I'm looking for a new home...

About Buddy

2 to 5 Years

Buddy is such a superstar and puts a smile on the face of everyone who meets him. He's a lot of fun and gets very giddy at times, and is incredibly friendly. Sadly his owner could no longer meet Buddy's needs so he's looking for a new family to become a part of. Buddy loves to play games, whether with us or one of his dog pals, and recently took the opportunity to roll in the mud when his carer wasn't looking!

Type of home needed

Buddy is a smashing boy and he could live with children aged 12 and above, as long as they're not put off by his size. He can be quite vocal towards other dogs and may be best as the only pet, but might like some playmates that can match his play style. Buddy isn't used to being left alone, and although he is house trained, he will need someone to be at home most of the day with him. When he first came to us, Buddy had split his ear and required a lot of visits to the vet, so he's a little wary of being touched around his head and ears.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
