I'm looking for a new home...

About Molly

2 to 5 Years

Molly is a friendly girl who is happy to stop and meet anyone, especially those with some tasty treats on offer. She isn't thrilled about being in kennels and spends most of her time looking for squirrels to shout at. She's an ex-racing dog and loves to chase after her toys. Once she catches one, she parades proudly about with it in her mouth for a while!

Type of home needed

Molly has a very strong prey drive and is always on the watch for wildlife. When she sees a squirrel or rabbit she becomes very excitable and will lunge and bark. She has done this a few times when spotting a small dog too, so we advise that she should always be walked muzzled, and ideally in quiet places or at quiet times. She's more likely to be happy as the only dog at home where she can have all of her family's attention and not have to share it. Molly has likely spent all of her three years in a kennel environment, so she may not be house trained. They do pick it up quickly but a little patience may be needed on her adopter's behalf. Molly can live with children of high school age.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
