I'm looking for a new home...

About Madam

2 to 5 Years

Madam is a gentle and dainty little Greyhound with the sweetest nature. She was rather nervous when she first arrived at the centre but she quickly settled in and now wags her tail happily at people. Madam can still be a little unsure when in new places so her new family will need to understand that she may take a little while to get comfortable at home. She isn't too bothered about toys just now but we're sure that will come in time once she's settled at home.

Type of home needed

Madam gets along well with other medium to large dogs and has happily shared her kennel with another Greyhound, and seems to gain confidence from his company. She's an ex-racer so we always advise that care should be taken around smaller dogs, wildlife and other small furries. Due to Madam's nervousness, we advise that she be better with teenagers rather than younger ones. As Madam has spent her life in a kennel environment, she will require a little patience from her new family when it comes to being house trained, but it doesn't usually take long to pick it up.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
