Cinders is a very pretty 3 year old Greyhound who is so quiet, you'd barely notice she was there! She's very gentle and although always excited to go for walks, she stands perfectly still to have her harness and lead put on. Cinders can be quite reserved at times but will come to you for a fuss when she's ready.

Type of home needed

Cinders will walk nicely with other calm dogs but she never interacts with them. We feel she would be happy having other dogs to walk with outside of the home, but that she'd be quite content as the only dog at home. She can be incredibly nervous of new people and will need a quiet home with just adults and few visitors. We don't know for certain that she hasn't been a racing dog, but we always advise caution with sight hounds when they are around small dogs, cats and wildlife. Cinders is muzzled when walking at the centre and she seems perfectly comfortable with it.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
