Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing.

We kindly ask that you don’t visit, or travel to, our centres. We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you’re matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

Millie is a special girl who is looking for an equally special family. She isn't enjoying kennel life, and is very nervous, but she's receiving lots of TLC from her carers. She's a curious dog who will come to you for a fuss in time, but she likes to do things at her own pace. Millie has spent some time living outside, and could be in better condition. We're hoping to find her a loving family that will show her everything she's missed out on.

Type of home needed

Millie came in with another dog but unfortunately there has been a lot of tension between them, and we have decided to rehome them separately. Millie is 12 now, her ears and skin are sore and she doesn't want to be bothered by other dogs bouncing off her. She's looking for a comfortable retirement home with people who will take care of her. As Millie's an older girl with some health issues, she's probably best rehomed to a household where any children resident or visiting are older than school age. Millie will come around in time once she's settled into her new home and surroundings, but she will initially appreciate a hands off approach so that she can find her paws again.

More about me

If you would like to adopt Mille, please click "Come And Meet Me" below. She will need to be met at the centre a few times before going home with you, so that she can begin to build that bond and trust.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.
