Collie lovers, we need you! Duke is a super handsome 2 year old Collie with very little history and he would really suit someone who has experience of the breed. He's not so keen on kennels but loves to be outside, especially when he gets to meet new people.

Type of home needed

Duke is looking for a rural, adult only home with enough space to allow him to be a classic collie, ideally with activities to keep him busy! We are hoping to find Duke the right home quickly as he does spin in the kennel and unfortunately has displayed this in the home also. His ideal owner will want to do lots of training to keep Duke busy, which he absolutely loves. He is super engaged, keen and quick to learn. Duke will need time to adjust to routine in the home including toilet training, we are always here to support and advise with this. He will also need time and a bond building with his new family before being introduced to other dogs, as he is under socialised, which displays itself as frustration.

More about me

Duke will be removed from the website when we have found him a suitable home.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Duke, who is based at Merseyside (Liverpool). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We kindly ask that you don’t travel to or visit our rehoming centres.

We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you are matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.
