Mitzi is a sweet lady who is definitley used to having things done her way! She's 11 and still enjoys her walks and likes to explore at her own pace. She's had a little upset in her life and routine recently and would love to find a family that will allow her settle and not rush her or expect too much of her.
Type of home needed
Mitzi needs a quiet, child-free home, with no other pets. She has had to share a home with other dogs recently and she didn't enjoy it, but she will walk with one or two quiet friends outside the home. Mitzi doesn't enjoy being over handled either, so won't be a lap dog, but may happily sit next to you once she trusts you. She is house trained but isn't really used to being left alone very long.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
