Thea can take her time getting to know you but once she's comfotable with you she'll let you see the real personality inside. She's typical of her breed, very aloof but prone to giddy moments! She enjoys a gentle fuss but is still an independent lady who likes things the Shar Pei way!
Type of home needed
Thea would thrive with someone who has knowledge of the breed. Shar Peis can be prone to entropion and Thea is no exception, having recently had surgery on her right eye, but she'll make full recovery very quickly. Thea has a very strong prey drive and will chase anything, so care MUST be taken around wildlife and cats etc. She might be best as the only dog in the home, and she doesn't enjoy dogs who thrust themselves on her, and can be avoidant. She's most likely housetrained but we have no history for her. She can live with children aged 12 and over.
