I'm looking for a new home...

About Tommy

1 to 2 Years

Tommy is an AWESOME dog! He's a 1yr old Greyhound and although he's not had much training in his life, he is super smart and picking things up really fast. He loves his food, so we know he'll continue to stay focussed if there are a few treats coming his way! He's full of beans and in true Greyhound style he loves a 5-minute zoomies session followed by plenty of chilling in his bed. He's a real pleasure to be around and in the right hands has the potential to flourish.

Type of home needed

Tommy is looking for a home where he won't be left alone initially as he's not used to this. He's fine around other dogs out and about and although he would like to continue his socialising, he isn't ready to share his home with any other pets. He'd love an active family with adopters who will continue the fab training he's been doing at the centre. He must have a secure private garden to play off lead and chill out in the sunshine. Due to his bubbly nature young kids won't be suitable but over 16's will be fine.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Leeds Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
