I'm looking for a new home...

About Dash

5 to 7 Years

Dash is a handsome 7 year old Greyhound. He is a very sensitive boy, who finds life generally quite scary, but is growing in confidence. He would like an understanding 'forever friend' who is willing to be patient with him and give him time to settle into his new home at his own pace, showing him lots of TLC and helping him to adapt to a new environment. Dash will need an adult only home where he is the only pet in the home.

Type of home needed

Once he gets to know you, he can have the most terrific bond with someone. Dash enjoys quiet time away from loud unexpected noises. He can be nervous of fast-moving traffic, so he needs a home away from busy roads. This athletic lad has been known to clear a 6ft fence, so he needs a home with a very secure garden with 6ft fencing. Dash enjoys the company of people he knows; he loves to play with his favourite fluffy toys and walks with dogs that he knows. At the centre he has built up a network of doggy friends that he walks with on a regular basis, he likes to have off lead play time in a secure area with his favourite pals. Once he has had his play time and a nice walk Dash likes to relax in a quiet place with a Kong or in hot weather a frozen treat.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
