I'm looking for a new home...

About Tyson

1 to 2 Years

Tyson is a worried soul looking for a quiet adult only home. He will suit a home with minimal visitors and people willing to continue his ongoing training especially around the front door.Tyson can be defensive with new people especially men so new owners must take this into acount and be willing to take things slow and at his own pace.

Type of home needed

Tyson is a beautiful lad who is very intelligent, but gets himself into a pickle at times. He is looking for patient and understanding owners who will be commited to continue his on going training. He was previously house trained and was left for a few hours, but this may need refreshing. He will need an adult only home with minimal visitors- with no contact with children. He asks to be the only pet in the home, he can become frustrated and reactive towards other dogs- he would benifit from quieter walking, though he likes to have days off from his walks to decompress to help with his worries. Tyson will keep his new owners busy, he is a very clever boy with oodles of potential and will be a very rewarding companion.

More about me

Tyson will need his new owners to commit to multiple visits to the centre where he can build a bond with you but also give his new owners the opportunity to chat with our behaviour team.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from Dogs Trust Kenilworth, West Midlands.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
