Covid-19 update: our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing, but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with measures in place to keep staff and adopters safe. Find out more about how national Covid-19 restrictions are affecting our rehoming procedures and other activity.

Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with new processes in place to keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

For dogs we know will thrive straight away in their new home, we’re matching them with their new homes virtually and delivering them contact-free. Current restrictions mean we can only facilitate adoptions local to our centres and not across Countries or anywhere there are travel restrictions. We’re not able to make appointments for dogs to meet their family before going home, but we can register interest to arrange appointments when restrictions ease.

We’re currently experiencing an unprecedented amount of interest, with some dogs getting several hundred applications. Please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

About Flossy

8 and over

Flossy has lived in a home previously and was housetrained but not keen on being left alone so will need new owners who won't be leaving her and are able to work around her seperation. She enjoys her walks on the field running through the long grass and will need access to her own secure garden in her new home.

Type of home needed

Flossy is a sweet but nervous girl who is looking for a quiet home with patient new owners who will take their time getting to know her. A home with fewer visitors would be preferred and no visiting children. She could live with adults only who will give her time on her own when she needs it. Flossy will need to be the only pet in her new home as unfortunately she doesn't like other animals. New owners will need to be able to make multiple visits to the centre before taking Flossy home so that they can form a bond with her. Once Flossy gets to know you she is such a sweetheart and loves sitting on your lap! She will need access to her own secure garden in her new home.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Flossy, who is based at Kenilworth (West Midlands). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
